Former Nigerian Goalkeeper & Super Eagle's coach passes on (photos)

Nigeria have recorded another huge loss following the death of Nollywood Actor Muna Obiekwe, We've lost a former Super Eagles' coach Musa Abdullahi and also a goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare.



Wilfred Agbonavbare, Former Nigerian International goalkeeper reportedly lost his battle with cancer yesterday 26th January.. The ex-Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper was said to have died at a Spanish hospital where he had been receiving treatment.

Agbonavbare, who was a member of Nigeria’s U-21 Mexico 1983 Flying Eagles, lost his wife three years ago to breast cancer. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

In the other Hand, Musa Abdullahi; a former Assistant coach of the Super Eagles died on Sunday January 25 after years of battling from stroke. He died in his home state of Kogi.  Abdullahi assisted Coach Fanny Amun to lead Nigeria to a second FIFA Under-17 World Cup title in Japan in 1993. He also coached the Nigerian under 17 and 20 teams.
