Singer, Davido is reportedly been investigated for Hard Drugs Use & Trafficking

Nigerian pop Singer, Davido may be in trouble with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) as he is reportedly being investigated for showing off drugs on his recently released video “Fans Mi”.

According to Sunday Telegraph, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju NDLEA’s Head of Public Affairs, in an exclusive interview said thus,

“The agency considers the musical video ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking.  Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is investigating the matter and will take necessary action.”  

Popular music video critic, Mrs. Nuella O’Peters also voiced her concerns on the video saying,

“It’s really outrageous seeing a brand ambassador and a mentor to millions of African youths indulging in such acts. He even went as far as using the substance for cooking in the video.  Can you imagine! It’s uncalled for. 

I do hope the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation will do something about the video.”
