Julius Agwu to contest for Rivers Governorship 2015, releases campaign photo

As 2015, the year for another election in Nigeria is draws near; celebrities are beginning to declare their interest in politics.

The line of celebrities going into politics is increasing. Few days ago, comedian Dan Tha Humorous, declared his interest in going into politics and is contesting for the House of Assembly, come 2015.

There seems to be no stopping for entertainers. Popular comedian Julius Agwu has declared interest in running for the seat of the Governor of Rivers state come 2015. His management also confirmed this to Nigeriafilms.com.

Julius Agwu said his people pressured him to lead them and now he has taken the bold step “RIVERS2015 ” The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong… ” Eccl 9:11 after pressure from my people to lead them come 2015… I have finally decided to take the BOLD STEP”

He said he will unveil his party later “My Party will be unveiled in due course please say a word of Prayer for me”. Other comedians say they are solidly behind him as they also posted his campaign pictures on their various social media platforms.
