Funke Adesiyan enrolls in New York Film Academy

After a failed attempt to get elected into the Oyo state House of Assembly, popular Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan has decided to get more professional in filmmaking.

She shared photo of herself in class via social media to announce her new venture.  Funke also captioned it, “It’s official… Funke Adesiyan enrols at the prestigious New York film academy, New York City to study Directing and Filmmaking.

Funke will be joining the likes of Kunle Afolayan, Stephanie-Linus Okereke, Chika Ike et al who are graduates of the highly regarded film school.  Way to go girl.”  The actress was recently in the news for criticizing her colleague, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde for what she tagged as indecent dressing.

Nigerian music acts, Banky W and Dr Sid have also attended the academy.
