Ghana Meets Nigeria In Movie, Today’s Love

Ghanaian actors like Eddy Watson, Kobby Acheampong and Bismark Odoi met their Nigeria counterparts in the ongoing movie, Today’s Love. A film produced under the stables of One&Two Film Production Venture for Uchenna Mbunabo.

Today’s Love with it’s working title happens to be a hilarious movie, starring acts like Nigeria’s comic actor, Egbeigwe Apama, Rita Edochie, Calista Okoronkwo, George Ogudoro, Chinenye Uyanna, Deinso Odukwe alongside others.

Directed by Chidi Anyanwu and written by Michael K. Amponsah, the movie tells the story of a lady who found herself in a dilemma state of loving two brothers. As love will always find itself in the wrong place, one of the brothers who happens to be the young lady’s first love could not find appreciation or remorse from her, as she prefers the other brother following his health challenge.

The lady as played by actress, Calista Okoronkwo got a complementing role from Ghanaian actor, Eddy Watson who happens to be her first lover in the movie. As nature would have it, Eddy contracted a deadly disease, HIV Aids, which made it impossible for him to be loved back by Calista Okoronkwo.

However, it’s expected to be hilarious, though with a little feel of tragedy to balance the various characters. Interestingly, the three Ghanaian acts will be the second set of entertainers to be introduced into the huge Nigeria market by Uchenna Mbunabo after introducing the likes of Jackie Appiah and few others.
