Ghanaian Actress involved in Near-fatal Accident

The left eye of Ghanaian Actress, Vicky Zugah, was left badly damaged after an accident in the early hours of Thursday. 

Zugah was returning home from a movie location at about 2am when a Kia truck ran into her car, damaging it in the process.

The windscreen of the car was damaged in accident, with some particles entering into the actress’ left eye.  The eye is bloodshot, as a result.
“I was trying to give it way, because it had occupied part of my way, so while I was parked by the side, he drove straight into my windscreen, ” Zugah was quoted as having said in a report by myjoyonline.

“[Doctor] suspects pieces of the glass might be in my eye because my eye keeps getting red…there is blood on it and it keeps spreading all over and the swell wouldn’t go down”, she said.

Zugah, who has been hospitalised at the Lapaz Community Clinic, will be transferred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for specialist treatment on the eye.

The driver of the Kia truck fled the scene, according to the report.
